Engaging young people with prayer

Many times especially in our Pentecostal Holiness churches it may seem very difficult to engage the young people in a strong life of prayer. Young people if you're reading this then you need to understand that a strong prayer life is essential to spiritual survival. Then enemy hates a saint with a very active prayer concentration.

Begin your day with prayer. Do not feel pressured to pray for a certain amount of time. Begin your prayer session with praise & thanksgiving. This sets the tone allowing for the Holy Ghost to come & visit you. As you talk with the Lord just speak with him like you are talking to your friends or family. Remember the word tells us the Lord inhabits the praise of his people & your ability to praise him for what he's already done in your life is the key to future victories over Satan.
