The Truth About Pentecostalism

Many Charismatics will try to tell you that our style of worship began in America in 1906. This is a lie from hell. The devil wants many to believe this lie so that the Pentecostal style of worship looks like a cult or a new thing. The word clearly tells us in Acts chapter 2 when Pentecostalism began. It began 2,000 years ago in an upper room. When 120 people gathered together in one mind & one accord to wait until the Lord moved on the situations of the day. They had enough from the devil & called upon the Lord to bring a comforter to dwell among us everyday.

Do you really think those 120 people that gathered would receive the gifts of the Holy Ghost & then walk away never to seek the same experience with the Lord again? In today's church world I see the devil attacking our Pentecostal way of worship. The devil is doing his best to chip away at it & make it seem fake. This is because he knows the power the Holy Ghost has in our lives as a spiritual weapon against him. Remember saints the Pentecostal style of worship is a gift to us from the Lord himself. Be thankful for the opportunity to worship in such a way. Lord we are thankful for the spirit of Pentecost!
